On my new Samsung phone I have Galaxy Store but I have not created Samsung account, neither I allowed to log in using Google account. Will I miss something if I will not use it at all? What are benefits? Will my apps be up to date without Galaxy Store? Will they update through Google Play store?
Alot of Samsung apps have made their way to the Play Store and are updated using that now.
But the apps that are optimized specifically for Samsung Galaxy devices are still pushed thru the Galaxy Store. You may be missing out on many updates for Samsung apps, USB-C and sound driver updates, and a few other system apps that can’t be uninstalled.
I find it worth it to check for updates in both stores at the same time.
