I has been using note 9 for a long time. and I only use the minimum of its feature.

Google map / video, web browsing / camera and post on social (no hi res/long vid),

no genshin ,moba or any hi-res 3D game ,play a few 2D gacha game and and quit from time to time.

So I looking for a budget phone to replace.

but when i saw the compare table I got confused…
Compare Table

my note using Exynos 9810 while A54 using Exynos 1380 | [Note9] cpu 2.7 and [A54]2.2 Hz
The only thing that got upgrade is ram/rom from 6>8 and 128> 256 and battery from 4000>5000 mAh
and can upgrade android version on A54 .

Q1. Is my note9 still outspec A54 in everyday usage?

Q2. what is a diff between Exynos 9810 - 1380 is it better or worse?

Q3. Is there significant upgrade on A54 than my old note9 ?

I consider to save up more to get S23 by the new year if needed.
Might want to try new game when I has snapdragon chipset too

I’d recommend the S21U. Still a great phone, and quite budget too nowadays, you can pick one up for 350$ (base version). I got mine for 450$, the 512gb version. Idk really what’s your budget, though

I has a budget around 12-15k baht (330-400$) which can afford A54,note20 U,S21 without burden.

But S23 in my country price are 30-33k baht (~900$) which is nearly triple of my expected budget.

If I can save money when samsung launch S24 in feb-mar next year.
may be I can afford to buy S23.

Well, you know how urgent your need to upgrade is. S21U is a great phone altogether, but it’s starting to get a bit old. If you can save up, the base S23 with the newer chipset alone should be a great option. If you need it now, keep the S21U in mind as an option. It’s way better than the A54 and should be close in price
