My battery life has not been great, and with the sot I am getting should I take take my phone to service center?? The phone is 4 month old.
5-6h is average.
Same for me, I get around 5.5- 6 hrs of screen time for 80-85% battery use but am able to get approx 7.5hrs of screen time on full charge. I also run a lot of routines in the background, keep my Bluetooth and location on 24hrs (for routines) along with highest resolution in settings. I think if I optimize these settings a bit 9-10hrs on a full charge probably seems doable. Check these settings for your phone, might be helpful to increase the battery life before taking the phone to service centre.
Thanks, will try that.
My s23 ultras battery life sucks too. If you have google pay enabled then that effects it a lot.
I just got mine last night not even 24 hours ago, I’m literally here because I have the same issue because I got the 23 ultra because I cracked my 21 ultra. I brought it home and did the switch via Google and spent a couple hours making sure eveything looked good. Some stuff was a little off but nothing that was easy to fix. The phone stayed charging all night and in the morning it was fully charged when my alarm went off. I plugged it into my car to use android auto to use Spotify and Nav like usual 30 minute drive start work at 5a.m and connected my cheap Amazon work ear buds to listen to podcast throughout the day on and off. About 2 hours in I noticed I’m almost at half battery when usually with my 21 ultra it’s barely missing one bar or whatever the battery 🔋 percentage is called. And that’s BEFORE I fixed the screen to max brightness because I thought it didn’t look as bright and nice as my 21 ultra. I’m so confused and wondering if my battery is shit
Honestly I would say give it a week or two for it to learn how you operate the phone. See full answer here https://www.reddit.com/r/samsung/s/LdmHl7nO0M
Battery life usually improves, sometimes by a lot, over the first couple of weeks as it learns your habits.
I have the zfold 5 and s23 ultra, previously had s22 ultra. The s23 ultra has the worse battery life of all three for some reason. No idea why, it gets quite leggy too. I have the 8GB s23u and the z fold 5 and s22u both have 12GB, maybe that explains the leggings. Either eay the s23u has been a disappointment battery and performance wise. The z fold 5 is better in both but has crap cameras in comparison
Screen off time would be helpful too. Like if you are getting 1 day of screen off but 5 hours of screen on, then it would be great still.
Edit: Also if you stream a lot of music while the screen is off, it will drain the battery without adding to screen on tine.
Download “Good Guardian” from the galaxy store to improve your battery life.
Reddit drains the battery quite heavily I believe… YouTube is of course also not the most power saving application… I think your usage looks relatively normal… I assume you put some apps you don’t use into deep sleep?
Yeah put some of them in deep sleep
