Last year's Core i7-12700H was fast, but the switch to Zen 4 has done wonders to battery life and efficiency without needing to sacrifice performance. The OLED display, fast integrated GPU, and affordable price point make the Pavilion Plus 14 an excellent option for students and most casual editors.
The Lenovo Ideapad 5 is still going to be a better purchase. 32GB RAM at 6400MT/s, 7840 processor with the 780M, and actually reasonable storage (a terabyte, not perfect but at least it’s not the useless 512GB most standard laptops offer).
