Getting the OLED soon and I’m hoping with 3.5 and this that Starfield becomes stable, locked 30 and 30-28 in cities would be enough for me, even though I know it’s not too bad atm

I noticed a decent improvement on the beta. FPS still isn’t fantastic in the big cities, but it’s much much better

I’ll wait for people to jump this topic and say “you cannot play this on steam deck” or something like “the steam deck cannot run this game well” too.

    This is getting annoying

It’s way more annoying having people here claiming these AAA games run “smooth 30” when they actually mean 30 with drops in busy areas and random traversal stutters. The Steam Deck is fixed hardware. We all use the same FPS counters, there’s no ambiguity around performance.

I agree about what smooth 30 means. However, some people can be playing on a completely vanilla Steam Deck while others can be running CryoUtilies + Sream Deck Essentials mod + an overcooked Deck. Not massive differences but it can cause differences in games that can run as bad as Starfield does.
