Recently updated my Apple Watch 6 OS to version 10.1. Since then my watch battery has been draining fast, It was on full charge this morning and not it says 10% battery left at 2:27 PM PST. Normally by 7pm I still have decent 45-50% left. I’m at work and don’t use the watch actively. Just let is on my wrist and go about my day. I only checked my heart rate twice
It is amazing that this is happening so dispairly. My watch has had the best battery life since the new update. It has lasted more than 24h and it’s still not even reached 50%, it’s so bonkers today I had to take a screenshot of it to show my coworkers
I don’t understand how this can happen
Does it not have daylight savings time on it? It should be 2:27 PM PDT. PST begins in November.
Same issue for me
Decided to bite the bullet and updated yesterday evening. Got lucky. I have a 1%/h drain on AWU1.
This has happened to me with previous updates (not this one, though). Try unpairing from your phone and repairing. That has worked for me.
It’s a known issue. Unfortunately some people got the 10.1 beta instead of the corrected update. Apple sent out a memo today, and apple support doesn’t know when the fix will be available.
I imagine it will be soon. Fixing this is pretty important.

Not for me
I am sick of Apple releasing updates that ruin the experience. Th boomers are right when they ay they do not update. lmao.
Same issue. An update is urgently required.
