Samsung is having an incredible sale and I’ve been eyeing the S90c for a while now.
I stopped by the store today and checked it out. The 4K content almost made me cry it was so spectacular. The non 4K content made me walk out the door though.
Did I make a mistake?
What’s the normal price? If it’s like 2k then no, but if it is like 5k then yeah.
I mostly read:
“Crazy 65” Samsung S90c for $1299? A mistake? "
LOL - Congrats on your new set.
Samsung TV sucks and that’s coming from a Samsung fan. I wouldn’t get it.
Agree. Panels are good but the OS sucks ass. Its beyond horrible to use.
Reason?
What did they exactly show you that made you walk away. I sell samsung tvs for a living and have to find my own content to demo, and I’m yet to find anything that makes the tv look bad
Samsung fan too. Get the LG
Very crazy, their QD-OLED TVs are spectacular, color and brightness are great, they do a very good job rescaling non 4K content.
I was blown away by the 4K content. Almost brought to tears how beautiful it was.
The non 4K content was a slap in the face. Particularly sports or anything with fast movement, nature shows, flying over water. My disappointment hit hard.
If there was more 4K content broadcast on YouTube TV, it would have been a no brainer. But 4K content is truly almost non-existent. NFL games are not in 4K, NBA games are not 4K. That was truly the nail in the coffin. That and my current TV still looks pretty damn good.
The new S90 is ome of the best Oled regarding the price/value so far. I think for $1299 it was a mistake not to buy it. I have last years S95B, it was the best decision of my life to buy that instead of the lg oleds.
