Title. I mean it just makes no sense, my S23 takes about and hour and 15 minutes to charge with my power brick from 15% to 85% but it only takes 40 minutes with my car charger. What’s going on here?
I use the Samsung 35w power adapter, with a usb-c and a usb-a port, and my car charger is a Nulaxy NX12 bluetooth fm transmitter.
The Samsung charger starts charging faster, so you’ll get more charge in less time. It then slows down to manage heat and does the last part of the charging slowly. This is meant to get you to a usable charge as fast as possible.
The other charger doesn’t generate as much heat early on, but also not as much charge, so the phone chooses to charge faster later in the process.
But the thing is it doesn’t though. I leave my phone plugged in the car charger during the ride home from work, which takes like 10 minutes, and it charges WAY more than if I leave 10 minutes in the samsung charger.
Check your usb c cable.
