Hi All

Thinking about getting a deck but if I did it would be my only device for gaming. Just wondering if any others out there only use the deck and how they find it? Also, do you miss/worry about not being able to play the newest and most “enhanced” games?

    My deck isn’t my only device but I’ve pretty much only used it since buying one over a year ago. It does everything I need except for two games. One being Mass Effect Legendary Edition (it works afaik, I just hate the EA launcher so I refuse to get it on pc) and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak (I’m just not paying for it again and redoing everything). Besides that, zero issues (and really, these are more me just not wanting to deal with EA/replay 400+ hours).

    As for new games… there’s very few new games I care about (Baldur’s Gate 3 and Resident Evil 4 Remake are the only two) and re4r works great on the deck, even with tons of mods. Bg3 works fairly well so far (just made it to act 2), I just keep it handheld only, not docked. It’s not perfect but I’m happy with it’s performance.

    So, tl:dr yes and I’ve got no issues with it. As long as you’re okay with a bit of fiddling, even new games in my experience work well.
