For context I’ve threatened to leave the Apple ecosystem a lot. However Apple keeps their ecosystem alive and healthy, so I’ve decided to stay. Right now I’ve got some stuff in the works on Apple Podcasts (Podcasts Connect), along with some stories I’m writing with Pages, later to be published on Apple Books. While I love how portable and nice and vibrant my iPad Pro is it’s not ideal for typing or writing a book with. My older sisters got a MacBook Air (M1) uses it to watch movies which is the same reason why I’ve got my iPad Pro. Would it make sense to upgrade to a MacBook Air (M2) from an iPad Pro with the same chip?

I have a MBP and IPad Pro. Hands down the MacBook, it’s just more versatile.

Unless u do a lot of drawing, watch lots of 4K stuff. Then the iPad, the MacBook Air has a normal LCD while the iPad Pro has a miniLED
