Currently on Apple Watch SE (2020). Wanted to upgrade to the series 9 for 3 main reasons: so that I can gift my current watch to my dad lol and because of the ECG monitoring and blood oxygen detector.

I gasp for air in my sleep sometimes (not always) but when I had official tests done where I had to wear a monitor on my index finger, apparently it’s not severe enough to be sleep apnea but I’m told I might be headed towards that condition.

So now I wanna monitor my nightly blood oxygen levels and I figured instead of buying my own blood oxygen machine and wearing it on my wrist while I wear a clip-on on my index finger, I could get an accurate enough detector and a less annoying one by way of getting the series 9.

Can anyone who uses the Sleep feature on their series 9 and iPhone check their sleep results page please. Does it show your blood oxygen levels on an hourly basis? Thanks.

The Apple Watch doesn’t track your blood oxygen levels continuously, the frequency of the measurements could vary a lot.
