Hello all!

I live in Australia. I’m considering asking a friend to order a steamdeck OLED for me and then ship the device over to me.

The reason I want to do this is because Australian retailers seem to charge a disproportionate amount to import the device to Australia (approx $840 USD to purchase the 512 gb steamdeck in Australia).

Is there anything I should be considering before proceeding with this plan?
