I’m happy with the OG deck. I work in tech and I don’t even know what OLED looks like compared to the normal screen. Some people do want the best of everything, or maybe display is what’s really important to them that’s fine. Personally I don’t care, I would love a deck with a much larger battery life or other quality of life features because those are what I care about.

I know it’s hard to understand, but for some folks the OLED screen is worth it. I love my Deck and use it every day. I use it to play old school games, last gen titles and stream from my PS5 (Got 6 people living in the house don’t get much TV time). For my use case it is absolutely worth the upgrade since it’s mainly the screen I will be looking at. As long as you got money to eat, aren’t skipping any bills, rent is paid, aren’t skipping any car payments, etc. People should absolutely buy what they think is worth it.

Now if you play mostly docked then you are an absolute fool lol.
