Does this mean graphics cards are limited to a max of 24 GB until 2026?

Seems to say GDDR7 gets 24Gb+ but earlier than that, 24GB is the max.

I cannot remember the reason, but I think I remember HBM3E memory is not good for gaming & graphics, but I cannot remember. HBM3E 36 GB ar 1.2TB per second vs 128GB per second on GDDR7…

      Yes but a the price compared to a 4090 is crazy that why most people who need the cards for work buy the 4090

    Worth noting that Micron is not the only supplier of GDDR7, so we could see some GPUs using it earlier, if sourced by Hynix or Samsung.
