Upgrading from an android and was waiting for the 15 to come out so I could get the 14 for a cheaper price. But unfortunately it’s only $100 less than the 15. I was hoping it would be cheaper. I’m curious what you guys think, is it’s worth saving $100 or should I just get the 15 PM since it’s not much more.

Edit: I’ll be going with the 15 PM! Thanks everyone for the great discussion! I think it’s a resounding yes, the $100 is absolutely worth it for the longevity of the device, the USBC cables, and the updated hardware.

    Actually I picked up the 14 pro max instead of the 15 pro max this year cause of the issues people were running into, and the back glass being a bit less durable and I’m a landscaper, plus it’s 99% of the same phone. Through my carrier it was $999 instead of $1199 so I saved $200 there, but also traded in my 13 pro max and got the 14 pro max for free cause they gave me $1000 for it in mint condition, the 14 pro max being $999 got a free phone upgrade and it’s 99% of the same phone if you ask me. Also I prefer the look of the stainless steel over the titanium… looks more elegant to me though the titanium does look good, just prefer the SS. Wish they used matte stainless steel like the iPhone 4 and 4s instead. Less soft than titanium and deals with the fingerprints.

    Yes. Issues are normal and based on news, after patches, those issues were resolved. 15PM will eventually get better.

    Well for starters you’re actually getting more storage for that $100 because 14PM and 15PM are actually the same price, they just scrapped the 128GB version of the 15PM so the 256GB is the base model.

    Well it’s a no-brainer. The base storage is actually cheaper in my country compared to 256gb 14 PM last year. Battery life is better, cameras are better (only downside is missing 3x lens for portraits), speakers are also better. And the lighter weight and rounded titanium frame is a nice bonus.

    With the 15PM having a usb-c port. Now we need to covert iPods, iPads & cables to usb-c. I’ll stick with my current iPhone with lightning port until my other devices need to be replaced. Kiddos for Apple switching to usb-c finally but now we have to think about the mess we are in. Lol

    How is this even a question? The 15 pm is at least $300 better than the 14 pm, bigger battery, usb c, better camera, better optical zoom, faster processor, will get updates for longer, better image processing pipeline, action button (this one is based on preference though).
