The prototype that was leaked a few years back and the new collaboration between Google and Samsung has got me thinking of a pair of smart AR glasses and the features they could have. For me I quite like the possibility of being able to dim the lenses to go from absolutely clear to heavily tinted. It would also be nice if the display was bifocal to have the ability to run two separate apps at once. For instance a map app in the top left corner and netflix either on the right display or across it entirely.

What would you like to see?

Prescription lense without needing an attachment. 50% slimmer than current ar glasses on market. Electro dimming.

As others also mentioned I’d rather it be a wireless display for phone, laptop, computer but if soc can handle it then the ability to have small widgets displayed.

Don’t care for VR, AR apps/ecosystem as much but I think since you’d need the sensors to track screen location then they might as well if it doesn’t impact battery.

I think if they decided against the VR/full AR route they could include a wireless remote/controller that allows you to adjust the screen location and fov on the glasses and for navigating the phone.
