What is everyone using as their default text message client?

I’ve used Google Messages and Samsung message - they both seem identical.

I find both of these are very limiting when trying to send pic or videos. There must be a size limit with these two apps.

When I had Verizon service I used their Message + text message app and I thought it was quite good.

SMS or RCS makes no difference to me.

Anyone use WhatsApp for default text messaging?

    Android message for family and friends in the US. WhatsApp for family and friends abroad.

    Pulse SMS. Had the subscription since May 2019

    Used to use whatsapp. Not anymore though
