Anyone else now joining the club? I had wanted the SteamDeck but never ended up getting one, and decided to get one for Holiday’s this year. I was going to buy regardless but was glad Valve came out with the OLED in time before I ordered.

I’m beyond excited to nerd out with this thing, both playing games and tinkering with the device. Part of my reason to get one is that this community and Valve has shown such great dedication to making this device take-off and stay relevant.

I just ordered mine today!! After getting sober I’ve put all the money I would have spent on alcohol, into savings for a Steamdeck. I finally made my goal today. A kind person on Reddit sent me a bunch of awesome games they had from Humble Bundles, that they weren’t going to use. So I already have a backlog.

    I’m beyond excited.

First timer for me. I had friends telling me I should take the plunge, but I was holding out for the next upgrade, and this mid-generation refresh was good enough for me! I can’t wait for it to come in.

I love handheld gaming systems, but the Switch just is not performing well for some games that get ported over. I recently came across the Steam Deck as an option, and decided to wait and think about… fast forward a week or two and the OLED gets announced. It was meant to be! Bought one today and I am so excited to get it!

I’m currently saving up for a Steam Deck. I figure it would be nice to have a portable device that can run PS Vita caliber games. I’ve had some large scale expenses, so I’m selling a bunch of my physical games, comics, and videos.

Me! I wanted to play some games again and haven’t had great luck with the laptop solutions. Was debating Steam Deck a month ago. Glad I waited!

Looking forward to Skyrim and Baldurs Gate 3. Might even try Cyberpunk.

Got mine today while working. Took a break to set up the deck and set it to charge and to download hogwarts legacy, doom 2016 and devil may cry5 and once I was out of work everything what set up and downloaded. Wasted a full charge on a hour session of doom.

Same! My wife and I just had our first baby, and I think this deck will help me fit some gaming in during his naps or wherever I can without having to retreat to the office or media room. Can’t wait to jam out on the couch under a blanket with this bad boy.
