So if you’re using Samsung’s secure folder, you’re gonna notice that every time you restart your device, it shows a notification saying “Secure folder locked, unlock to receive notifications” or something along the lines. You can’t disable it by default, which kind of ruins it’s supposed hidden nature.

I found a pretty simple way to block that notification and stop it from appearing ever again.

First, download AutoNotification on play store, as it’s the app we’re gonna use to disable the notification.

Second, restart your device so that you receive the notification.

Third, start the app and go to the Notification Blocking tab, then press the + icon at the top to add the notification.

It’s gonna ask if you need help setting up the block filter, choose Yes and it’s going to list all of the notifications you currently have.

Finally, choose secure folder’s notification and block it by title, then press ok to add it to the blocked list.

And voila! That notification is now gone for good! ( It won’t appear again any time you restart your phone )

Hope that helps someone out :3

TLDR: You can block secure folder’s notification from appearing at startup using an application called AutoNotification.

Well I just log in to my secure folder and not seeing it again… It is good that it reminds me to unlock it after restart as I would forget about it.

It gets annoying when you have to restart your phone multiple times. For me, I’d rather just disable it.

Why you restart phone multiple times? Last time I did it with ui6 update that is all.

Well, sometimes I do for troubleshooting purposes I guess. Other than that, it only restarts when updating or when the battery drains on me completely.
