Ive been trying and failing to group my apps into folders because every time I drag the app it opens in split screen instead of pinning to the home screen, its incredibly annoying and I just want it to be turned off. I cant find the option to turn off split screen anywhere, is it possible? Absolutely hate this feature.

Long click on the app. Hit the select button. Then hit the create folder button.
