So I bought an iPad earlier this year and I loved how responsive and intuitive the operating system was. After a few months of watching my s22 ultra degrade I decided I’m going to try an iPhone. So I got a pro 15 max and i am enjoying it so far but I’m a little lost at times.

So any tips for a first time iPhone owner? What’s the most essential features I should know about after years on android? Whats everyone’s favorite thing about owning an IPhone?

The Health app (really kicks ass with the data from Apple Watch), FindMy for finding my keys with an AirTag, photos syncing to all devices via iCloud.

I just learned this feature, I believe from this subreddit lol. But when typing, if you want to use a common symbol or number, instead of tapping the 123 button and then tapping it again to go back to the ABC Keyboard…simply use you’re left thumb to press and hold the 123 button. Use your right thumb to select the symbols or numbers and when you release your left thumb, it’ll go back to the ABC keyboard.

I don’t really have any. Camera and battery life are good but those aren’t exactly exclusive found on iPhone

The space bar can be used as a “trackpad” in text entry fields to move the cursor around. Just long press on the space bar, keep pressing and start moving your thumb/finger around to try it.
