    Not on Arc? That’s a shame.

    Edit: Nevermind. They supported AV1 on Arc already.

    However I wouldn’t use Handbrake with gpu encoding because my main usecase is packing files smaller without losing quality.

    I’m dumb, what are the benefits of AV1 over h.264/265?

    Is it commonly supported by video hosting sites? Is there a benefit to using AV1 for uploading videos on various platforms?

      This is why so many people still on hackintosh. almost every i9 from the last 5 years paired with a rx6900xt beats any m3 mac for a third of the investment,

    Ah shit. Wanted to put my 4080 to transcode over the weekend (AV1 is the shit) but I doubt I can do that while streaming Star Citizen during the free fly week.

    Still awesome go have though.
