The option is not where you think it should be. To use the feature, ping your iPhone from your watch and then the feature will appear (bottom right hand corner).

It is not very Apple like design, you also need the iPhone 15 series.

    Hope this helps.

Both devices need the U2 Second Generation Ultra-Wide-Band chip. So, Series 9 or Ultra 2 + iPhone 15 and up

(They never called that chip U2 in any bit of marketing. I thought Apple was friends with Bono and his band…!)

It’s utter rubbish. Just charge your watch in the same place. I glue my charge to my work desk since I always charge in the same place. Like, in the past have you had to search around more than 5 minutes for your friends in a market. Pointless gimmicks are made by apple. I’m stuck in the ecosystem. I like the products but the gimmick nature of it is kind of getting to me.

Not everyone has the same scenarios. If FindMy doesn’t apply to you because your watch/phone are always in the same area, simply don’t use or get it.

For everyone else this applies to, it’s a great feature. There’s countless scenarios where you have your watch and need to find your phone, or you have your phone and need to find your watch.
