So I’ve had some crappy virus that’s kept me sick and fatigued a lot lately. Thankfully, I have some time off coming up next week.

I’d love to be able to spend some time during the week playing just a relaxing, but fun game (far away from the likes of SoulsBorne style games).

I have a Switch, and I’d love to get Kirby and the Forgotten Land. But, after coming back from a vacation, replacing a dead refrigerator/freezer, Christmas coming up very soon, dental bills, and just life, I don’t have the money for Kirby right now.

I am blessed to have a ton of games for my deck, but none fit the bill of what I’m looking for as I have a lot of 4X, SRPGs, CRPGs, in-depth Strategy, etc. Are there any good, inexpensive ($5 preferably or $10 max), relaxing platformers or just laid back games that don’t require me to learn an in-depth system?

All suggestions welcome

Have a look at the Ori series, Tunic, Bastian, Crash Bandicoot, Somerville, Celeste, It Takes Two, Psychonauts series and the new Cocoon.

Then you have the classic platformers like Hollow Knight, Inside and Limbo.
