Basically as the title says… After updating my Steam deck, when I try to load the game it comes up with the Steam loading screen and then just kicks me back to the game page. I’m not sure what’s happening or how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Its an issue with the latest update. Here is the fix:
- Open the ‘Properties’ for BG3
- Navigate to ‘Betas’ and go to ‘Beta Participation’
- Select release_patch4_hf1 - release_patch4_hf1
- Let the patch download and launch.
Hope that helps; works fine afterward. I updated other versions to the beta as well, just in case it causes any issues with save files.

New update is out. Working fine now without any workarounds.
This is an issue with BG3, not the deck. There was a hotfix for BG3 today that seems to have broken it entirely on any Linux machine. A user over on the BG3 sub said it seems to be an issue with the launcher, and no work around seems to fix it so the game is just borked for now until the devs fix it
I installed ge-proton8-23, removed my lauch options and went to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data/ and removed the file PsoCache.pak. My Baldurs gate is working now.
