I installed via EmuDeck.

It is in the same dir as Metroid Prime and Xenoblade, which are showing up when I launch yuzu.

The only way I can launch Super Mario RPG is to add it as its own game entry in the Steam Library through Steam ROM Manager in EmuDeck, then launch it that way. However I don’t know how to bring up a menu to edit settings to try and get better performance when doing it this way, so want it to show up in a general yuzu launch in a list with the others. Why isn’t it showing?

If anyone is curious - SMRPG runs well on Deck. The early scenes where you see Bowser’s Castle are low fps, but there is a Digital Foundry video that shows this same thing happening on the Switch. Usage is like 55% tops on GPU and CPU usage is quite low, so this is an emulation issue not a “Deck not powerful enough” issue. Battles are 60fps, if an area is large you will be around 50fps probably, but I saw this happening in the DF video on official hardware as well. At least here you can get the res higher.

So it’s okay to discuss the piracy of brand new games on this sub? I’m not calling you out, I don’t care if you pirate, but I thought something like this was against the rules.

To the inevitable replies I get about this: emulation may not be piracy, but you’re kidding yourself if you think anything above 0.001% of users are dumping their own roms of newly released Switch games.

You don’t need to dump roms to play games you own. I played like 1 hour of twilight princess on my switch. I beat the game on my deck.

Nintendo has my $60. As a matter of fact, they have many of my $60 bucks.
