RF23J9011SG issues over past 5 years. Thank God we purchased an extended warranty. 11 icemaker visits/ fixes. Samsung is making a lame offer of $500 off of a new appliance from Samsung.com. How do I get what’s fair? Anyone here had a better outcome?

    I absolutely HATE my Samsung refrigerator. I wish I had done more research prior to buying this, but I guess I was enamored by the four door French style it had. But what a NIGHTMARE this has turned out to be. Bought it March of this year, by May had the small cubed ice maker replaced. Since then, it’s been monthly calls to Samsung, numerous service providers to my house and Samsung flat out refuses to do anything. The freezer does it maintain correct temperature, food is constantly going through soft to hard freeze cycles, loads of frost in freezer, large ice crystals on everything… but good news… the “smart panel” shows zero errors… so according to Samsung, the fridge is perfect. Apparently you can not actually use the appliance, you can only install and look at it. According to Samsung, we open the doors too many times. You want ice, open the freezer. You want cold water, open the fridge. It’s a manufacturer defect due to how they built this product.

    Samsung is a joke!!
