Me and my brother were thinking about buying a steam deck. We were planning on sharing it between the two of us, but after looking at the prices, we’re curious about what’s a better option.
We were wondering if it would be more worth it to just buy the new OLED model for $550 or invest $150 more and just buy 2 64GB LCD models?
In terms of gaming, we were mostly going to play retro games with a few current games that we own, but aren’t really graphic intensive.

I’d say, get 2x512GB LCD refurbished, it’s 10$ more expensive than new 64GB. I got 64GB refurb 3 months ago and I couldn’t be happier, all I had to do was upgrading internal memory, so that’s why I’m suggesting going with reasonably priced 512GB refurb (you can try waiting for 256GB or even 64GB refurbs and upgrade SSDs if needed, but 512GB is the only one available now, in my region at least)
