I want to switch all my school work from pen and paper to something like a small laptop or a tablet, I was heavily leaning on just a simple android table but realized I wouldn’t have important Windows apps like desktop photoshop, audio/video editors etc, what do you guys recommend? I don’t really have a budget but preferably nothing over 1000€

I’d prefer Android over Windows for example all your workflow can be easily be done in a 350USD Android tablet (I have a Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021) with keyboard folio case and pen. I’m still the type of student that will be better when I write my notes instead of typing it, I use the Concepts for that. For video editing, I’m a noob at this but I find Capcut to be very user-friendly. There are also lots of very good photo editors in Android but I can’t specify one since its not part of my workflow. All my documents, spreadsheets, and presentations can be done using Google Office apps that syncs to Google Cloud.

I’m not against you on using a laptop for your use-cases, In fact you can buy the two, a tablet and a laptop but no one knew how much laptop and tablet pricing where you’re at. I work using my laptop (programming) while I draw and take note using my tablet.

I was looking exactly into a 350€ tablet too, do you use office on it and do you find it to work well enough?
