I love the steam deck but it’s funny that you mentioned that’s “it’s still pc gaming and half of the time it’s not install and play”. That’s exactly why I despise linux on the deck. On my 6800u 99% of the games I own work without issues, no problems with any launchers or anything.
It’s superior at 1080p in SOME games, how long will you stay on 1080p? Frametimes are often better on the 13th or 14th Intel gen but sometimes Amd is ahead. For things like emulation you can always count on Intel being ahead. I’d say it’s a no brainer to buy Intel if you don’t mind undervolting/powerlimiting to reduce heat.
I just compared this test to another done with the 13900k at low power levels and it seems like the 13900k performs better at 125w and below, or am I missing sth? Curious how the 13900ks is at 125 or 175w. Probably even more efficient due to binning.
