1 year agoI mean, cool, I guess. But since converting my entire friend group and family to Signal I guess I personally don’t have any use.
My brief stint with RCS was nice, except when you change phones or they change phones or network connection gets weird, then things just get spotty. Similar to iMessage.
As a Fitbit user on a couple different devices historically and presently the Pixel Watch 2…I cannot recommend them.
It isn’t necessarily the devices that are bad, but the software is a dumpster fire. It works some days, not the others. Sometimes it’ll work for a couple of weeks but then they’ll release an update and break a bunch of things. It’s a constant battle / cycle.
Contact support? You’ll get ignored. If you don’t, you’ll be escalated and then ignored. Open an escalation ticket? Good luck ever hearing back.
Post for help? You’ll get copy-paste suggestions that don’t work.
It is never their fault, it’s always the end user.
I can’t speak for the Apple device itself because I’ve never used one, but every time I try a new Fitbit-related device, I eventually switch back to whatever it is I was using because it is maddeningly inconsistent. Just check out their support forums and app reviews, I am not the only one, it’s a mess.
