Yeah, don’t keep it charged permanently. It’s a lithium-ion battery, and it could explode if you keep it plugged in, if you aren’t careful. These batteries need to be charged, then fully drained, (ideally) before then being fully charged again, to keep them in good condition.

If it’s meant to be brand new, and you aren’t happy, get it returned and replaced. After all, it’s your money and your phone!

More stability, less bugs/glitches, and the ability to play videos one-after-the-other, without them stopping, or at least create video playlists like we can for music.
