1 year agoI’m still using the same Macbook pro from 2013 and it’s still going strong…a little beat up but works just fine. At home I’m still using an iMac from 2011. The problem I’m running into now is that I can’t officially upgraded to a newer OS so apps are becoming unsupported. It’s a shame bc these computers can easily get me another 5 years I’m sure. I can manually install a newer OS but that comes with its own issues
Yea that’s one of the reasons I’m still using the same 2011 iMac and 2013 macbook pro. They are still working just fine and I can’t justify upgrading yet because of the customization I will lose. It’s a shame, really. I will have to soon though bc I’m stuck on older OS with no official way to upgrade so I’m losing app support.
