To be clear for others, power efficiency is very important because it’s the only metric that really matters for the steamdeck. Without PCIe 4.0 (SD is only 3.0), most SSDs are gonna perform pretty much the same.

This is a 2.5A SSD, so you should expect a slightly reduced battery life compared to a 1.8A SSD like the one built in.

As for how much that’d be, iunno. Could be as little as losing a few minutes.

Personally I went with a PM991A, which is 1.8A.
