I still wouldn’t bet on it…there is a lot that goes into it. We need to see how it performs if its true. Honestly I don’t want to have a mobo for like 10 years, it might run a new CPU but the features will start to show its age by then. I will be happy with 2 gens a board with maybe a 3rd as a option if you still are happy with the board and want to get a little more out of it. At that point its time to move on.

They seem to have stopped trying to compete with Nvidia for the Ultra high-end space but they still hit hard on the mid/low/console/mini PC markets. The console market might heat up with Nvidia looking at it and trying to leverage DLSS with the new switch and I’m sure they will try to flip Sony and MS, but that seems unlikely until 2 gens from now as I’m sure they will stay with AMD for the next gen at least.
