Steam deck supposedly shipped on the 24th. Tracking number given to me still doesn’t work on the FedEx site. Concerned seeing people receiving theirs without warning, as I don’t want my new expensive purchase sitting at the front of the house unnoticed for potentially hours. This whole process has been super disappointing, and has made me reconsider if I’ll even bother ordering a steam deck 2 when that is released down the line.
Still on packaged :(. Meanwhile people in my area who ordered the same model at the same time as me have begun receiving them…
Same dilemma for me. Hard to know from all the discussion so far whether the matte degrades the oled quality a small, but acceptable amount, or a large and unacceptable amount. I’m still leaning towards the limited edition as I’m willing to take a small compromise on the oled screen, as it’ll still be much better than my 512 lcd etched screen, and I do use it outside as much as inside.
Just received my le deck this morning. As others have reported, my tracking number with FedEx never actually activated, so it was complete surprise when it arrived.
