I don’t think they ignored you guys, they just have limitations in those areas.

They will release it and call it steam deck 2.9 and then the next one will be Steam deck 4

Well, to be fair, they have a monopoly on the PC gaming space and pissing people off isn’t something they want to risk when they don’t have to. That being said, you should never treat a company as a friend.

I don’t think it’s fair to say they lowered the price because they love you guys although it’s great marketing. Unlike the console market has had the casuals by the balls due to pure simplicity, valve does not have that, atleast not in the same sense. Valve did this because they want to strengthen their position in the pc gaming market and outside of making their platform stronger little by little, the best moves they can do now is make huge lateral innovations. They will make their money back just through pc game sales. That being said I still love valve but I also want to still keep them on arms length as they are still a corporation. Never forget when they wanted mods to cost money and wanted 25%

I don’t think the oled model is worth the upgrade. Just wait for the actual deck 2
