I like it, but didn’t at first. There’s definitely a steep learning curve. I just wish performance and battery life were better. My series 5 never used to lag on previous versions, but it may just be the chip in it showing its age.

I’d get the back fixed and get a clear case. I’ve had my 15 pro max for 2 weeks and if I’m going out I use the case. Otherwise, at home I always use it caseless. I love the thin and light feel you get without the case.
I came from an iPhone XS Max and was in a similar predicament. I was deciding between 14 pro max and 15 pro max. Ultimately, I decided to go with the 15 pro max. I don’t plan on upgrading until the phone stops receiving software updates or starts slowing down. I figured since I was already spending at least 900 I might as well go for the newest phone. The usbc was also pretty convincing because all my other devices (iPad,Mac) use it. I know I’ll get at least 5 years outta my 15pm without any issues, so for me the purchase was worth it.
Updated and charged watch to 80% at 6:11 pm. It’s now 59% at 9:51 pm. Feels like my battery is the same or maybe even worse after the update😔.
Use it to toggle silent, focus, flashlight, and Shazam. Surprisingly, I use it everyday and can’t imagine getting an iPhone without it.
