Got my OLED LE yesterday and the screen is amazing even for the etched model but a few issues I’m facing
I’m also noticing lower cou clocks than 3.4
A OLED specific issue I’m having is HDR will force on in games that don’t support HDR and wash the whole picture out.
Otherwise I love this thing hope they can patch the bugs out

good im glad it is. It looks dope so im happy that anyone wants one should be able to get one thats how it should be. its more of a limited run than a limited edition. so when they are done this production run this thats it
it should be out by monday at the latest im in NY ordered the LE on launch day soon as it dropped and I got my tracking number today just waiting on UPS ti pick up so youre should be soon
im a little concerned because I saw a few videos and the Steam Deck oled model only drops to 45fps. thats kind of a bummer since some AAA games I play are really tight on that 40fps and may not hit that 45 FPS as consistently.

I just really hate that etched screen I ordered the limited edition and I’m going to put a tempered glass on it and hope it helps but I am really disappointed they force fed etched glass screens on an OLED …
Yea it will the colors won’t pop as much and you won’t get the pure blacks oled is known for

an annoying issue im having with the OLED steam deck that is not happening with my LCD model on 3.4 is frme capping is busted. when im playing a game no matter what setting i use to cap the framerate ar 40 or 45 there is annoying judder in every game its just not smooth. IDK whats going on but the worst is Lies of P and Quantum Break both on the LCD deck when I cap to 40 its perfectly butter smooth. on the OLED deck in 40fps its so choppy it gives me headaches and I have to stop. the framerate is 40 locked and the frametime is nearly flatline. so its so confusing
