1·2 years agoThe biggest difference between the two processors is the iGPU, if you’re not getting it for gaming it’s definitely not worth it. If you were getting it for gaming, the performance increase is pretty minor and still probably wouldn’t be worth it.

1·2 years agoAlso the up and down arrow keys being miniature, and the page up/down and home/end requires both the arrows and the fn key from the opposite side of the keyboard.

1·3 years agoMy understanding is that the iGPU performance is heavily effected by RAM. Make sure you’re using 5600Mhz RAM, make sure you’re using both slots for increased bandwidth, and low latency (CAS 40) RAM will also improve performance.

Sounds like the CPU, though it may just be the first generation chipsets.
