  • If you have a standard Apple Watch, 7, 8, 9 or SE get a screen protector. A plastic screen protector/film would be best. If You have an Ultra get a Glass screen protector. For either standard or ultra I recommend RhinoShield Crashguard NX. I’ve had several Apple Watch models. Plenty are too bulky, too annoying to put on, or just suck. But the RhinoShield by far has been the best one of I’ve used. It’s more of an Otterbox than the official Otterbox ones have been in my experience.

I think so…so far 10 has been pretty solid for me. My battery improved from what it was on all of watchOS 9. The new button system isn’t the greatest as I liked the old app switcher and being able to swipe up for the control center. I don’t see a ton of use in the scroll up widgets with complications already too. But I’m adapting to those parts now.

  • I’m surprised it’s been so hit and miss. My Ultra 1 is almost feeling brand new again with the 10.1 battery. On 10.0 and through most of 9 it had gradually been dropping in battery capacity. It went from the definite two days to barely two days or a day and a half at times. On 10.1 Mine went down about 30-40% a day. Making it through about 2 ½ days in its first charge since updating. Not attempting to gloat because I know the feeling of having the opposite issues. But I was so thrilled to have the great battery life back I had day one.

  • I’ve basically only used the Nomad Sports bands for the past year besides occasionally tossing on the Apple Watch band mine came with. They feel premium and hold up really well to wear overtime. I also have had a band under $20 break white on my wrist so for a device that’s typically $400-$900 I’m just not going to risk that with a cheap strap.
