Got it. A used S6 lite costs just as much as an A9, and it’s much, much better.
Honestly, don’t get the A9. It’s laggy and it’s disappointingly bad.

It’s bad. I had an A6 which I ditched for an A9 a month ago. The A9 seems to have worse battery life and it is not faster at all in daily usage.
Get yourself an S6/S7 or their lite versions, or just go for an iPad7/8 and call it a day.
If you buy a new A9, you’ll lose half of its value once you want to sell it.
If you don’t want used, and you want to ditch the tablet later AND you are saving up for a PC, do not get a tablet at all.
