Well, looks like my package is indeed coming Friday when I will be away for several days. I tried contacting UPS and they said that Valve is restricting holds or address changes on these packages. I’ve said it before but I will say it again but I really do not know what Valve was thinking releasing these so close to a major US holiday. I can’t imagine I am the only one in this situation and it’s a huge hassle trying to get this resolved.

Anyways, has anyone been able to make changes to their package by contacting valve? I just opened up a ticket but want to know what I should expect.

UPS finally updated for me and is showing an estimated delivery date of Friday which is a bit frustrating since I’ll be traveling from Friday morning to the following Wednesday. Looks like I’m going to have to try and reroute it or be held for pickup for when I get back. I really wish Valve considered the major US holiday occurring right after this thing launched when selecting a release date. Had they released this a couple days earlier I feel we wouldn’t be in this predicament.

So I finally got my tracking number to be recognized by UPS, but it still only in the “Label Created” status. Maybe there will be some other movement today but not going to get my hopes up. I live in Texas so I hope I am still able to get this in hands before I leave for my trip on Wednesday.
