I love handheld gaming I live in a city where I rent a room and I don’t own a tv so handheld gaming it’s perfect for me. Steam deck is perfect. Well, the thing is, quite simply, everyone had the same idea: I got my Steam Deck 10 months ago, and on CEX, I can sell it for at least 3/4 of the price I paid. I sell it, add £100 (or less), and voila, I can get the new OLED. However, in just a week, the entire CEX marketplace got flooded with Steam Deck LCD units, causing the prices to plummet. Now, there are plenty available. When I was in the queue for mine, I checked CEX to see if I could find a second-hand one. I live in London, and I remember there was one available, which lasted only 2 days, in Zone 4 in West London. The next one was somewhere near Eastbourne on the southeast coast. I think they were even more expensive than buying one from the official website. It’s all about the market dynamics and the delicate balance between supply and demand.
