With an i9 you want the fastest cores for a desktop pc, the Xeons are more for connectivity and heavy workloads that require many cores at the expense of high frequency and price.

I had the w3-2423 and it almost never reached its max boost frequency which was bad because the chip is horrifically slow otherwise and the all core turbo is really low, disabling power limits helped but only a little

can only suggest seeing if there are any BIOS updates, I dont have a HP but for me, each BIOS update has improved the general performance by a noticeable amount

This doesn’t look very intersting like, TRX50 just looks like it exists to “get threadripper” without cutting into WRX90 features too much and isn’t Zen5 round the corner anyway…?
