That information is out of date with today’s battery technology IMO. Make sure the Optimize Battery option is enabled.

Yeah the AWU* are great watches with bright big displays, long battery life with a unique design. Just don’t forget to leave your home bound iPhone on connected to your carrier. Otherwise the watch will be communications brick on your wrist LOL. Unfortunately I can’t saying anything good about the hot mess watchOS 10.x.

Battery life on my AWU is the same as before but there are issues with certain complications not working/displaying on certain watch faces. You might want to hold off a little longer. Especially if you are still on WatchOS 9 IMO.

My California top middle complication is broken for the Apple Heart Rate but seems to work with HeathWatch and Heart Analyzer functions in that complication. The Calendar function works too. Looks like the Apple amateur kiddie programmers are really still struggling with WatchOS 10 programming IMO.
