I’ve been using Perplexity instead of Google in the last few weeks. It’s the fasted AI search tool that I’ve tried. It gives nearly instant answers with sources. You don’t even need to specify exactly what you’re looking for. For example I just searched „how to remove the rubble to get to Nere“ while playing Baldurs Gate 3 the other day and it instantly showed me the correct answer pulled from different sources without me having to include the name of the game.

Standard search is free, and there’s a paid co pilot available with more features. But I haven’t used it.

Also Artifact for news aggregation. Really good algorithm that learns very fast what you’re interested in, reader mode, AI summaries and text to speech. It’s from some former Instagram dudes and they have added more and more community sourced stuff, so let’s how long it will be great for news.

Same here. It was already the case in 3.5 on the preview channel once I’ve tried it a few weeks back. I changed back to stable and hoped it would be fixed by now. Sadly not.

It’s very unfortunate that you had so much problems. I’ve been using iPhones since the 3GS in 2009 and don’t recall ever having hardware issues.

But that’s the thing with technology, it’s still a magic box full of thousands of parts that need to work together and sometimes it fails.
