e22big@alien.topBtoIntel•Intel doesn’t think that Arm CPUs will make a dent in the laptop marketEnglish

1 year agoMaybe it is. Why would you want a Windows laptop if not for X86 compatibility? If you don’t have that one app that requires X86 for work or don’t plan to play game, why don’t just get an Android tablet or an iPad? If all of your works are web-baed, they would have handled that just fine.
If you get an X86 system, chances are you have something that need that X86 system. And getting an arm processor to run those while emulator kind of a round about way to do that isn’t it?
Go for either the base 23 or Ultra. The 23+ cost a lot more and didn’t really add anything beyond the bigger screen.
The Ultra give you a pen, the top of the line main camera (you don’t get it in both the 23 and 23+), and a 10x Telephoto zoom in addition to the standard 3x. If you love smartphone camera at all, go with the Ultra (it’s not like the iPhone where you only get more camera in the Pro model, you actually get a significantly worse camera setup going from Ultra to any other models in the lineup.)
If you don’t care about a camera or want to save money, go with the base (unpopular opinion: probably should look for something entirely even, Samsung had been woefully uncompetitive for anything outside of the Ultra and the foldables.)
