HomePods can be particular about WiFi routers and some people have found that they operate better on 2.4Ghz rather than 5Ghz but there’s no way to specify that, even if you have different SSIDs for each network. I ended up configuring my router to ban their MAC addresses on 5Ghz, a setting my router thankfully has.

Walmart has a 1st gen SE right now for $109. Exactly the same as an S4 except it’s missing the ECG feature.
Just get the Yelp app and never log in. It’s not a requirement to use it.

They took it back to its roots, a basic computer for people with modest requirements. Apple spent years neglecting the Mini while elevating the Pro beyond most professionals’ needs, so the iMac had to step up to serve as the midrange model. That era is over now that there’s the Studio and better Minis.
If you’re in the market for a more performant computer, marrying it to a display isn’t the best financial choice. A good monitor can last a decade, in which time it can be the display for two computers.
It can be pretty clumsy on Windows but I’ve found that Apple’s server/client works pretty well, at least over a LAN. Not sure what the iPad client situation is like.
