I decided to forgive Game of Thrones and rewatch the show for the first time since it ended. I’m curious if any of the later episodes will be better in a second watch and a binge watch.
I’ve been using Apple TV in one form or another since 2009 and I’ve only had 4 versions of it so faster chip won’t have me upgrading the 3 main units in my house.
No there really aren’t any benefits other than getting the movie as soon as it’s available. Unless I just really loved a movie and can’t wait to watch it again, I’ll wait for the first price drop. You will usually see one 3-6 months after release

Before you freak out, search your things and try to find it. It’s possible that you’re getting that notification by mistake considering you live in a dorm. Someone near you may be using it.
The purpose of the notification however is to warn you that an AirTag that’s not yours is tracking you so it’s possible someone slipped one in your bag or backpack
